MCC Alberta and MCC Manitoba are helping to support a Northern Manitoba AIDS initiative called Camp Hope. The initiative works with First Nations peoples in Northern Manitoba and focuses on: HIV/AIDS prevention education; supporting and caring for those suffering with and impacted by AIDS; and advocating on behalf of First Nations peoples with AIDS for access to better health care and resources, counseling and support.
